2023 was an excellent year for Sense Network and our amazing membership of nationwide Financial Advisers.

But for those of you who might be unfamiliar with Sense, here's a little bit about us, what makes us tick and why 2023 was a year to remember.

What We're About

Founded in 2007, Sense Network is proud to be the #PartnerOfChoice for UK Financial Advisers.

Our moto is “Your proposition, your way.” We have a current membership of ~300 advisers and maintain an approach of only recruiting firms and advisers that match our enthusiasm for high quality advice, delivering excellent client outcomes.

Sense provides the highest standard of compliance support to our membership, but since the acquisition by the ASHL Group in 2019, Sense has expanded its services to include business development support for every life stage of an advice practice and aims to be a beacon of diversity by providing a platform for the next generation of advisers to enter the financial services industry.

Our Blueprint Of Possibility

  • Routes into the industry through our Adviser Development Academy (of which we currently have over 60 candidates enrolled across the various courses)
  • Marketing and growth strategies for firms who want to use our in-house expertise to build greater relationships with their clients
  • Intergenerational succession planning awareness campaigns

Our 2023 Milestones

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance contributions across the Network stand at an average of 1.54%, for compliant PII, where the national average is between 3.20% - 3.50%.
  • 60+ Candidates currently enrolled into our various Adviser Development Academy courses.
  • Consumer duty legislation requirements embedded across the network, with particular focus on client outcomes.
  • Financial viability of the ASHL Group strengthened by hitting the milestone of >£1bn of AUM managed in-house and the acquisition of 5 businesses into our national advice model Lync Wealth Management.
  • >100 hours of CPD accredited
