Your day to day role will incluve dealling with any provider/member enquiries received within published turnaround times, requesting agencies via stated company process, uploading agencies to Intelligent Office , record agencies on firm spreadsheets, assisting with Novation processes as per ASHL Group guidelines, dealling with any Novation enquiries received from Providers and Advisers, liaiseing with advisers regarding novation process and assisting with production of Network and adviser authority letters.

Graduate Paraplanner (no experience needed)

Clear Cut Financial Planning are delighted to be seeking a new graduate to join our Paraplanning team.

Clear Cut are an Independent Chartered Financial Planning Firm and have a proven history and excellent reputation of investing into the next generation of financial planners, having already enlisted numerous graduates in this role over the years and developing them from Administration & Graduate Paraplanners into; Paraplanners, Associate Financial Planners, Fund Analysts, Mortgage Advisers and Financial Planners and now looking for the next successful Graduate to join our team.

The ideal candidate requires no experience, but ideally a relevant degree (although not essential) in Maths, Business, Economics or Finance with grade 2:1 or a First. You will be actively working towards your Diploma Level 4 qualification and prepared to start imminently, paid for by Clear Cut, with allocated study time


The Role:

Full Training will be given on all aspects of the role, some duties will include;

  • Create and maintain accurate client records on back office systems, platforms and any other IT systems e.g. cashflow & risk profiler
  • Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings as per business processes
  • Check accuracy and completeness of new business documentation
  • Ensure that all business applications are processed accurately and efficiently, in a compliant manner, to the firm’s standards
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures
  • Ensure all work is followed up promptly in line with company standards
  • Liaise with product providers to ensure timely and accurate responses to clients
  • Obtain illustrations and application forms
  • Production of portfolio valuations
  • Ensure fund switches / rebalances / top ups / withdrawals are carried out accurately and within company timescales
  • Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries
  • Ensure action points resulting from client meetings get diarised and dealt with

Job Type:



Starting at £18,000  – the role is expected to last 18-24 months. Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 upon completion of the graduate scheme and qualifications.
