Co-founder of Sense in 2007, Tim has overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the business. During 25 years in financial services Tim has amassed considerable and diverse business management expertise and he works extensively with client firms, helping them to build value and achieve their aspirations.
John Netting - Compliance Director
John was one of the co-founders of Sense and has responsibility for the regulatory support supplied to members via the Network’s compliance support functions. John has worked in financial services for almost 20 years and has held senior compliance positions in a large directly regulated firm and large network environment.
Steve Young - Chairman
Steve Young has spent over 30 years working in financial services. He has extensive commercial experience and has spent many years in senior roles responsible for sales, marketing and business development. Steve has responsibility for helping to develop the commercial strategy of Sense.
Leanne Williams - Finance Director
Leanne’s responsibilities are wide ranging, and include managing reconciliation of commission and adviser fees, production of management and financial information for the Board and acting as Company Secretary.
Catherine Mellor - Head of Training & Competence
Catherine’s wide ranging financial services experience includes adviser propositions, compliance, and project and operations management. At Sense, Catherine leads a team who develop and support business principals and advisers, with a focus on regulatory compliance, process efficiencies, and delivering the best possible service to their customers.
Rosie Ashbrook - Head of Compliance Support
Rosie has been in Financial Services for over 20 years, working in various compliance roles at a large network and a directly authorised national IFA firm. Rosie is a compliance ‘all-rounder’ with considerable management experience, her core compliance knowledge and flair for IT means that she can help financial services businesses in a wide variety of Compliance related IT projects.
Adam Owen - Head of Learning & Development
Adam’s experience in financial services has spanned three regulators, during which time he has worked closely with firms in matters of compliance and adviser development. Adam launched and developed successful practices under the PIA and FSA. Over the last decade, he has drawn on this considerable experience to provide practical compliance and T&C solutions to advisory firms.
